I guess I'm being paranoid and deranged at the moment. So I only want to ask those who have read the light novel of it as well. I admit that right now, I'm putting a lot of expectation toward the anime because of as this story felt like a combination of three(3) of my favorite series. And no need to mention that its inferior artstyle might turn me down, it slightly did so.
5. Manga is so much better - Forums - MyAnimeList.net
Feb 7, 2023 · While I do agree manga has better stories and stuff, I can't read a manga for too long. Mangas are just too dull. That's why I've dropped almost ...
Now I'm not here to tell you that manga is better but to ask why people always get so mad when you tell them the manga is better or that they should read the manga instead. I'm mostly an anime watcher myself and it took me over 10 years to pick up my first manga and compared to the amount of anime I watched I have barely read any manga (don't bother to check my lists they are both incomplete) but I never understood why anime fans get so mad at manga fans over some recommendations. And now don't tell me you just hate them because they are annoying. Anime fans are much more annoying. Let's be honest here, manga is obviously the better medium and the only reason I haven't consumed more manga than anime is simply because I'm too lazy to read and just want to turn on an episode and get entertained. Almost every manga I ever read was by far better than it's anime and it's not even close. I always appreciated manga recommendations and I can understand manga readers recommending the manga over the anime. What do you think about this? Do you read manga? Do you hate manga recommendations and if yes why?

Once upon a time, there was a middle-aged Japanese salaryman, a schoolgirl, and a speed demon of a truck driver. The man tried to rescue the girl from the truck, and... Well, I bet you can guess what happened next. That man was me, by the way—"was" being the operative word, because the next thing I knew, I came to inside the world of my favorite game, Braves and Blades, as Rex Tauren. Rex is the most powerful character in the early stages of BB, a level 50 jack-of-all-trades who's got tons of class skills and one huge drawback—Rex is only a minor character, so past the tutorial stage, his growth rate tanks and he's all but useless. In other words, my quest is now to find BB's true protagonist and dump all of this saving-the-world stuff on them. I just wanna kick back and... Hold up! Why does everyone keep calling me the hero?! 7. What kind of adaptation do your favorite manga have? - Forums
Sep 11, 2024 · Manga is too long & overcomplicated. Mayo Chiki - Good enough, but misses out stories, especially Usami's.
I'll start, Magi - mediocre adaptation, incomplete Gantz - horrible adaptation, incomplete Claymore - decent adaptation, incomplete Houseki - good adaptation, incomplete Sora no Otoshimono - very good adaptation, incomplete School Rumble - very good adaptation, ending is rushed Prison School - amazing adaptation, incomplete Shingeki no Kyojin - masterpiece adaptation Death Note - masterpiece adaptation, last arc a bit rushed but overall ok Ghost in the Shell - not one adaptation was close to the manga material though one of them did good in its own way (SAC) I guess this is more of a personal thing, I don't advise people to argue about what's a good adaptation and what isn't but sure, if you have the guts you can argue with me how Magi isn't a trash anime that destroyed the manga.

And how to get this situation better. I mean most people who read manga do know for real what shonen and seinen are like and enjoy some titles in each but then come shojo and i always have big titles i love in the genre underestimated by others who dont want to touch them because of the "for girl only" reputation of shojo manga that makes many not wanting to read it and giving it any try when really many could enjoy lot of shojo manga titles. I have editors, librarians, book seller, and people in booktube, mangatube and other style of manga influencers trying to get people enjoy shojo and people who do shojo specialized websites makes the same constatation as me since like ten years. All of the energy didnt get past people cliche. Why? Its so sad because shojo has a lot to offer to many and load of men who didnt want to go outside of shonen/seinen any time because not wanting to read any "girl thing" at all who did finally try end up enjoy shojo titles around me. And its not even just guys sometimes girls also dismiss shojo as "too girly" without really giving it any try a case of judging mistakenly all shojo books by stupid editorial choices of very often not to suited to content glittering pink cover sadly. I mean Utena, Nana, Rose of Versailles, Fruits Basket, Sailor Moon, Snow White With The Red Hair (which look so much like The Ancient Magus Bride i tend to confuse both but still one is shojo the other is shonen so seriously this categories do not even have that much me...

With only a very handful of characters, Natsume was able to flesh them out well enough and with only 14 chapters she was able to tell us such a beautiful story.
Ian, a young man with a fractured family history, travels from Australia to England to America in the hope of realizing his dreams and reuniting with his beloved sister. His story unfolds backwards through the framing narrative of Jim, a reporter driven to capture Ian's experiences in a novel: not simple.
